The Launch of the new Green Spirit Website

As with most websites, this is being launched much later than I would have liked, especially given how 2020 has evolved, BUT at the core of my being, I do believe that everything the Universe throws at us is perfectly orchestrated so that really, I have to believe that this is actually Divine Timing!

Many of you have witnessed the changes that Green Spirit has gone through over the years. Some of you remember Day One, I am sure. To introduce you to Green Spirit now and not mention where it originated from would be totally wrong. There is a story. The fact that I am here now, is because my dear friend Kay started it all through her own spiritual journey, back in 2012. She shared this little shop space back then with Lilou Organics who are still flourishing with an online business, and when things shifted there, Kay and I became business partners in 2014 and for almost 5 years, we were partners in business and life in general! Those were very happy days. However, as I have been known to say on more than one occasion, nothing lasts forever. A series of big life decisions followed for both of us last year, prompted purely by Kay’s decision to move back to England early in 2019 which ultimately resulted in us dissolving our partnership last summer to accommodate the shifts in both of our lives. Overall, 2019 was an amazing year filled with highs and lows but mostly highs with a bunch of lessons and learning curves thrown in! I never would have imagined I'd be in the position I'm in now, but I trust my journey and I'm grateful for the way things have evolved. I’m also so very grateful to everyone who has been coming through our door since I went solo, and I’m grateful for this calm space every day.

2020 has been a wild ride for so many. My experience of it has been somewhat emotional but I am not alone and share this with so many small and sole owned businesses. I thank you for hanging in there with me. I thank you for your support whether it be through buying from us during this time or simply verbal, emotional support. It is all felt and all appreciated.

This Website has been fun to put together and has kept me focussed and connected to my community and my dream over the past couple of months. It is also another thing I never believed I could do! I had planned to get someone to build it for me, before all this Covid stuff happened and then suddenly (financially) that was no longer an option and yet I REALLY needed a website that I felt good about and that I could manage easily, more than anything else! I could not have done it without the technical help of my wonderful husband, so thank you Alan for being my personal tech support!

There is still much work to be done on the site at this point and I promise that it will grow over time. More products will be added and more product descriptions and information will appear. Once again, I thank you for your patience as we navigate and make this an amazing and user-friendly website! We want it to be an absolute pleasure to use.
